"This is thirty years of heavy music inspired into 8 songs... never stupid!"
Since its inception in the spring of 2005,LORD has seen it's fair share of
line-up changes and has released several independent releases including a
full length,an ep,2 splits and a contribution to the yet unreleased
BUZZOV*EN tribute album,"Unfit To Consume".LORD has also been lucky enough
to not only share the stage with many high profile acts in heavy music such
as PENTAGRAM,TROUBLE,KYLESA and EYEHATEGOD but they managed to be a part of
the final Emmisions Of The Monolith festival in 2007.now after 6 years of
trials and tribulations,LORD has finally settled and what is definitely
their strongest line-up yet.Steven"Kerch"Kerchner, formerly of OL' SCRATCH
and VOG, has replaced the departed Andy"Ghandi"Murray on vocals. What he
brings to the table is not only a ferocious stage presence and great
lyrical ability but a keen sense of melody that is complemented by bassist
Helena Goldberg's dynamic melodic sensiblities which truly shine through in
the material comprising their new full length album "Chief".Sole remaining
original members Willy"Will-Kill"Rivera and Steven"Sven"Sullivan,have
delivered the most dynamic and pummeling material the band has ever
released to date.pushing the boudaries of extreme but still retaining hooks
and melody.the material runs the spectrum from blazing hardcore/punk to the
most suffocating doom.what you get is the best of what LORD has to offer
and is capable of.with killer songs in tow,LORD has once again entered
Sniper Studios w/Vince Burke to lay down what will be the definitive LORD
album, with a sound so gritty yet anthemic, the only question left to ask is-
Who's your Chief? .. .. .. .. .. .
LORD has shared the stage w/the following national acts:Eyehategod,Pentagram,Beaten Back To Pure,Rue,Alabama Thunderpussy,Trouble,Kylesa,Torche,Parasytic,Rwake,Minsk,Blue Cheer,Weedeater,Buzzov*en,Pale Divine,Deadbird,Unorthodox,Facedowninshit,Indian,Middian,Lamont,Sourvein,Earthride,Karma To Burn,Honky,Pig Destroyer,Made Out Of Babies,Cough,R.P.G.,Gates Of Slumber,Samothrace,Throttlerod,Valkyrie,Dixie Witch,Giant Squid,Black Cobra,Skeletonwitch,Suzukiton,Stinking Lizaveta,Nachtmystium, We're All Gonna Die,Solace and Swarm Of The Lotus.we've also shared a stage with countless local/regional acts and have taken part in the Emissions From The Monolith festival 9 in 2007 and the Stoner Hands Of Doom festival XI in 2011.
